General Information
- We are looking to grow our team by taking on individuals who are skilled, conscientious and reliable. If you have these attributes and would like to work for a construction firm dedicated to getting the job done right, first time, then we would be very pleased to hear from you.
- We generally work on small to medium size domestic projects in and around Glasgow, most of the time within half hour drive of Glasgow.
- We are a small family run business working to a very high standard and we would value your skills and efforts.
- The work tends to be varied, and hopefully interesting.
- We have a joinery workshop in Glasgow where we manufacture the various joinery products which can be seen throughout our web site.
Experienced Construction Labourer
Main Duties will include the following :-
- Groundworks - Site clearance, excavations, foundations, concreting, underground drainage.
- General Labouring - Assisting builders, roofers and joiners on site or in our workshop.
- Deliveries - Transport materials and goods between our suppliers, sites and workshop.
- All General Building Work, as skills and training allow.
- Mainly working on Alterations, Extensions and Renovations of private houses in and around Glasgow.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Essential Requirements :-
- 1 Years minimum construction experience.
- Full UK driving license.
- Keen to learn.
- Hard working, Conscientious, Reliable.
- Own vehicle for getting to work.
Other beneficial skills / experience :-
- Mini Excavator Certificate and Experience.
- Trailer Licence and Towing Experience.
- Being able to turn hand to assisting other tradesmen.....
- Scaffolding, Kwikstage system.
- Roofing, Slating.
- Slabbing, Landscaping, Drainage.
Remuneration :-
- Full Time, Permanent, Long Term Position.
- Salary Negotiable, depending on experience.
- We are very keen to find an honest, reliable hard worker who will be paid accordingly !
- PAYE, Standard Pension Contributions.
- Work Vehicle / fuel card provided.
- 28 days paid holiday.
